Circus Kirkus is a grand, comedy-driven, theatrical circus experience inside an intimate European circus tent. We have aerialists, interactive comedy, jugglers and acrobats. About Kirkus…
MY NAME IS Kirk (or Kirkus)
I went to the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus when I was 12 years old and was amazed by it. When I came home I told my mother I wanted to be a clown. She said, “No.” So that is the moment I started to dream about it more. My mother would read me Dr. Seuss’ book, “If I Ran the Circus” when I was little and she called me, ‘Kirkus McGurkus.’ That settled it, a circus man I was to become. And she gave me a great name for the show, CIRCUS KIRKUS!
